grrrrrrrrr school

So I am currently undergoing my final two weeks of school, and you know what that means! THATS RIGHT FINALS FINALS FINALS. Which, When you throw work and the holidays into the mix, doesn't leave me with much free time. I am determined to create some though to work on a skit I am doing with a few friends for fanime. I cant put it off anymore. though its a few months away that's closer then one would think. especially sense 5 out of the 7 people in the skit live either out of town or out of state. this is going to make things difficult but......I BELIEVE WE CAN DO IT!!!! Sí SE PUEDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could tell you guys about the skit but the cosplays are a surprise. So I hope you see us running around on Saturday. Or in the masquerade if you go to watch it. :)

I went black Friday shopping but didn't get much to help me with cosplay. Later I went and got all my fabric...well most of it I still need fabric for three more Cosplays. Baiken From guilty gear Shigure from fruits basket (surprise outfit) and the goddess Nayru from The Zelda Games. I hope to show prog pics but a lot of the outfits are surprises I've noticed........sorry :( if any one has questions or ideas about what you would like me to talk or tell you about just let me know and I will in my next blog. If anyone even reads this anymore....I wouldn't trust me either TT_TT .....lol anyway I g2g study!!!!

GUESS WHAT!

I'm not dead!

Its true I am very much alive, and I truly have no excuse for ignoring this for so long. I did try to come back and write about fanime but, Half way through I was like 'forget it!'. Plus that day I was in a computer class and the almost two hour class finished before I could finish what I wanted to say -_-. (I was still in high school at the time) and I just haven't got back on here.

Recently a friend convinced me to get my act together and write stuff out on here. this might be do to the fact that I constantly rant about cosplay related things to her......and everyone else O_O. I am soooooo incredibly sorry I was gone for so long! I hope you guys haven't given up on me :(.

so lets get down to business XD

sense I've been gone I've gone to Ani-Vent, Sac-anime summer 2010. Also after convincing a few friends to cosplay DGM we created a youtube channel called Kalalipopz that features silly videos about Allen, Lenalee, Kanda, and Lavi. You might think its stupid but I love it. It's so fun!

so I have already bought my badges for fanime and anime expo 2011. I'm hoping to go to Sac-anime winter, but I'll have to see how it plays out. I am definitely going to AOD 2011. I need con sooooo bad I'm going through with draws! (is that how you say that or is it with drawls?) IDK!? XD

THE NEW HP MOVIE! I just bought my tickets tonight! I'm going with a group of friends. Sadly we did not get tickets in time to go to the premiere and we aren't "cosplaying" any one really, but we will be wearing all our harry potter stuffs like ties, necklaces, maybe wigs, dark marks-did I say dark marks? O_O I meant uhhh......ooootthhherrrr stuuufff.........yyyyyeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh.

With noooo cosplays.....fanime is two days away and not one single one of my cosplays are done! NOT! ONE! im freakin im getting lots of help but its just unexpected iv been working on this stuff sence forever and NOTHING IS DONE....guess i should have worked harder...dont get me wrong it will get done.i just dont know how yet.i need a fairy godmother.....that would work as long as she didnt only give me till 12 thats NOTHING at a con LOL anywho just tellen ya whats up thanks everyone who has and is helping me! T_T... I'M SORRY!!!!!!!!!

Random Announcement!

I have decided that along with Queen Elfaria, Chidori, and vaporeon, i will also be taking fubuki to fanime after my mage and my friend sheiky said they would cosplay from the same game with me....though it might be more work then its worth i love my fubuki cosplay so im ignoring that little voice in my head screaming at me to stop with the insanity....i quit like insanity i think....if i didnt, why would i continue to do this to myself? anywho! i have a question for anyone who reads this....if its not a secret ;) and your going....who will you be taking to fanime? hope to here back from someone! XP

so i finally got my progress pics up! i Hope you like them! (one is side ways :( ) anywho forgive me if i have put one of these up before XD. if i have then ...oh well XDDDD


this is Queen Elfaria stuffs (i have more progress and the dress has been hemmed and i have made the slits up the sides of the legs now (kinda older pic) I bought a potion bottle for a prop XD and i have started to style the wig......it might look fail to you but its the best we could do :( i had super awesome help (sorry about my wanna be akuma pic editing i kinda had fun with the stars lol)..... i also have covered most of my cardboard wings in air dry clay (aka model magic) and i painted one of them black. i hope to finish those soon its very time consuming.

full of fail -_-

sooooooo this isnt a biggy but i feel REALLY EXTREMLEY stupid for not taking care of my props and cosplay stuff...i get in a rush and i mess up....and i am very forgetfull.........so this is what happened......i had gone to my friends house for her b-day and we worked on cosplay stuff. i brought some stuff over in a bag and when i went home i set the bag at the end of my bed...and forgot about the Chidori anklets that were in the bag....( i will post "before" prog pics of these later) later another bag got set ontop of it...a very heavey, bigger bag........that crushed them T-T and now im supper mad at myself :(....how could i be so mean to my cosplay.......grrrr me!...........i had to fix them and they are...okay, but not as good as they were before...i also got in a hurry while making my Elfaria dress and i was cutting off some extra fabric after i had himmed the side leg slit things and......i wasnt paying atention >:(... and i nipped the fabric 3 times...not nipped actually more like cut....giant wholes of doom (okay, not that bad but it looked like it to me......and maybe any other cosplayer.) not only that but i used a strange fabric for this dress so it wasnt shiny and would make the dress look the way i wanted...that fabric was a knit of some sort (yeah) so it could get a run in it. so i had to make sure it was sewn up really good and now it looks like.......small patches of green stitches on the BACK of my dress...at least the cosplay gods gave me that much XD...hopefully I've learned my lesson and it doesn't mess my group up in the construction judging.....i feel bad for my group that has to deal with my fail.....so yeah kinda sad but happy cuz i know that I'm gonna finish and have fun at fanime. just have to do the work, be patient, and get it done. *sigh* yeah sorry for the pathetic post and... i lied about my next post being prog pics....sorry about that too....full of fail remember?XD bye bye peoples............

so I havent posted anything for a while......sorry about that ...I have progress on Queen elfaria, chidori AND vaporeon....Oh BTW did I tell you im cosplaying vaporeon....cuz I am XD. hopefully it wont be a fail. Okay so i finally have an banking account. so i don't have to bug my friends to buy me things online (for cosplay)YAY!!!!!! that and i got my permit i know, i know i should have had it buy like At LEAST 17 but i always wait till the last min. anywho just wanted to share that with you guys! sorry i haven't had any progress lately. i have had SAT's and ACT's and binders to turn in and interviews :( yeah all that senior year stuff soooooooooo I'll be bustin my butt to finish in time for fanime. ( I'll force my friends to help me muah hahahahahahahhah) no but actually they always help me. :) i don't think iv don anything with out there help yet lol. Okay so as you could see by the title I'm at school.....I was sitting here obviously not working on much and I started thinking about my cosplays that I have planed for the future and realized that when you compare it to how many cons we go to a year....(not including small events like ani-jam stuffs)we usually go to one big con a year so that's like 3 or four days??....I have my cosplays planed for like 3 years! I mean they aren't FOR SURE!! But I will eventually do all these and yeah. I wish I could go to more cons so I could have places to wear them. I need to get a good job I suppose, because cosplay is forever so I need to plan ahead XD. I really want to do more cosplays! I only have a few planned but with no place to wear them .....why spend the money ...I suppose I could have photo shoots.....idk I guess its just a problem every cosplayer has....MONEY!!!!!!! well I guess in the end I'm glad just to have fun with my friends and do what I love :)

Okay so on Saturday I went cosplay shopping for my fabric(fanime). I got all the fabric for one of my coslpays and I also got a (VERY EXPENSIVE) undergarment that I needed. I know I could have found a cheaper one, but its not like im only using it for one cosplay and then thronging it away!.............I felt very uncomfortable in that store...to be honest I feel uncomfortable in any underwear store so I was like.......terrified in that place (Victoria secret btw) anywho......we also went to lows and Red Robbins (YUMMMMM). after that we went back to Keika's and chilled there for a while. it was FUN! we talked about or skit and many other things. I had to go home though, so we got on MSN and talked for a while. that was even more fun! at the moment we are talking about trying to get more people (mainly guys) to do a group cosplay with us so we will have like ALL OF THE CHARACTERS! a few are quit girly but you know. We have 9 people in our group and EVERYONE is doing a cosplay from this particular video game so its gonna be epic! we dont NEED more people.....but we WANT them lol! I also hope the Robbie ends up cosplaying with us as well. She would make a hardcore Alice and I hope she really thinks about it. I also hope we weren't pressuring her to much.....oh well anywho you people most likely have no idea what im talking about but yeah I'll post progress ASAP!!!! bye bye peoples!

what really happened last weekend

As you know i put up a blog about what i was PLANING on doing this last weekend. But,of course, NOTHING we planed ended up happening. the only thing we planned to NOT do (work on fanime cosplays) did though.........cuz thats how we are i suppose. we got so much done it was CRAZY! we should say were not going to work on cosplay more often, then we might actually get crap done! lol XD anywho here are some fanime 2010 progress pics.

Long weekend (hope of progress)

So I have a four day Weekend this week, i had originally decided to take a break from cosplay to focus on my school work and driving tests (no I cant drive yet,because I'm lazy and terrified of driving with other cars).anywho As you all know (cuz i told ya lol) me and my friend Ne-Chan won a masquerade at AOD and won alot of prises, we kept some but we decided to sell the rest for cosplay moneys! so this weekend we are having a "put everything on eBay" party. We are also going to go through the difficult task of making my Fubuki cosplay easier to put on by making a note of where everything goes. (that might take...you know.....FOREVER!)not only that but were gonna look up YouTube vids of our fav cosplayers.....after that were gonna brain storm about my epic queen Elfaria wings for Fanime. We decided that it is not as far away as we want to believe it is and think that we need to get started on them asap! but i cant forget that i have to finish my TAPS binder and such to graduate.(TAPS is something that only my DUMB school does, well that i know of). I miss my friends so I'm glad that i get to see Ne-Chan. and sheik-Chan needs to come home! but I'm glad she's having fun in Texas. so yeah I have been putting my vids up on YouTube and (four years later!) i have decided that i will most likely put my AOD vids up this weekend :) i think they'll be boring though. i was to busy having fun to make alot of vids :( oh well. so I'm gonna stop talking now haha bye bye peoples!

AOD o_o

Okay so I took some of my friends (who happen to be in my cosplay group) with me to AOD. I had lots of fun and I know its said to be a small con, but there were a lot more people there then I thought there would be.....like a lot more. I had lots of fun and strangely never really got bored at all. Except when I was changing into my fubuki cosplay. It took me and Ne-Chan hours to get all those pieces on! (btw thanks again Ne-Chan) any-who I cosplayed shigure for most of Saturday until the masquerade judging. Okay,I have never really been in a masquerade, so when I went to sign up the lady said she needed to see me in my cosplay I was wearing for the masquerade before 4:00. I thought "hmmmmmm wonder why" I didn't really think to much about it and went to my fruits basket photo shoot with Sheik-chan and Callisto (sp) it was mucho fun! After a bit I looked at the time and noticed it was 3:00. Ne-Chan and I booked it to the room ( I was sad to leave (T.T) but ...you know how it goes) we tried to hurry but didn't have time to finish all the details. We thought...oh there just gonna see that we have one or...IDK! I'm an idiot I didn't know that was the judging! I had no make up (his thick eye liner) and some small pieces were missing. they asked me for a reference pic because they didn't know my character. so I asked if I could also have a bit more time to finish putting on my costume. They said that the line for judging would be down by then and that we could just come back in a lil bit. so we did that and we were juged.....I know, I know, I'm stupid.

So then we went back to the room till we had to meet up at the main events place again. While we were leaving the room we realized we had lost the room key and locked Ne-chan's staff in the room :( ...*sigh* -_-;.....then we had to get a new key.

ANYWAY!!!!!!! After that we went to the masquerade. When it was our turn they played the audio for the people behind us on accident and I did a lil bit of "stall" dancing (I DONT KNOW! MY MIND WENT BLANK!) It was fun over all and we didnt expect to win anything. There were some GREAT cosplayers there! But we ended up winning best of show! I was so excited. Maybe a little too excited but at that point I didnt care. I was just happy.

Oh! Did I mention I also meet Koi cosplay!?! It was sooooo awesome they were soooo nice! The next day I went from shigure in the morning to fubuki in the afternoon for some photo shoots and then to normal clothes and then we went home. :) yup! I left a lot of the secound day out but I wrote too much about the first day so I dont think you'd wanna here more :) but yeah that was my AOD experianc not to mention i turned 18 today wooohooo! ups (sorry for the novel!) sooooooo thanks for reading bye peopleS!

I finally got on here! sorry bout the wait. i finally get to show you guys some progress pics.this is my Fubuki cosplay!

well this is part of it, of course i have WAY more done then this but this is what i could get to stay together long enough to take a pic not to mention i look like crap(which is why my face is covered). I also made progress on my shigure cosplay but I have no pic at the moment. Sheik-Chan styled my shigure wig for me! (thanks sheik!!) With the con only a week away I'm starting to get very scared.the question is not "will I get them done?" It's "will i like them in the end or will they look like i had to throw them together?" if I'm not happy with them it wont be much fun to wear them :(.....but It'll be okay :) just a lil worried is all.......procrastination is the worst! wish me luck and pray if you religious cuz I'm gonna need all the help i can get! lol....also i would like to mention that sheik-Chan and Ne-Chan have been great! thanks to my cosplay group for all your help! I will finish them HOPEFULLY!!!!! this week end its a high goal to reach but I've been bribed with CANDY!!!! wow......i sound like a 6 year old........oh well! write you guyz again soon!
